The Carinya Digital Lending Library is divided into two collections:

  • Primary eLibrary – a fiction-focused collection designed for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, with a wide range of audiobooks and a small collection of eBooks. Audiobooks can be accessed through the free ePlatform app.

  • Secondary eLibrary – an audiobook collection for students in Years 7–12, with an emphasis on titles suited to senior students (Years 9–12). Audiobooks are also available via the free ePlatform app.

Students log in with their school account to borrow age-appropriate titles. Each title includes borrower age and year group restrictions, similar to those in our physical library. For example, an 8-year-old in Year 3 will not be able to borrow a book marked for ages 13+ or Year 7.

Reservations: While many popular titles are available in multiple copies, it may still be necessary to place a reservation if all copies are on loan.

How to Get Started - Click the links below to browse each collection. Sign in with your Carinya email address and password. You may borrow up to two books at a time from each collection for a 14-day loan period. After this time, the book will automatically return to the library for others to borrow. Each title can be downloaded to up to six internet-capable devices (including Kindle Fire). For more help with apps and compatible devices, visit the Support section of the Digital Lending Library website.
