Payroll and Employee Benefits Administrator
Carinya Christian School is now receiving applications for a full-time Payroll and Employee Benefits Administrator to commence in 2024.

The objective of this full time role is to oversee and manage the payment and administration of benefits for new and existing employees including all wage and leave entitlements.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience.
It is preferred that the Payroll and Employee Benefits Administrator have the following prior experience or skills:
• Experience in the Education Sector
• Experience with the Payroll Function in a medium to large enterprise
• Experience with Accrual Accounting
• Knowledge of the National Employment Standards
• Experience with TASS.Web Financial and Payroll Modules

Reporting to the Financial Controller the successful applicant will be required to fulfil the following responsibilities:
Payment of wages via Fortnightly Payroll
Maintenance of Employee Leave Entitlements including:
Annual Leave
Personal Leave
Long Service Leave
Payment of Superannuation
Administration of the Payroll / HR System
Administration of Employee Records
Administration in relation to the recruitment and appointment of new employees

This position is classified in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 as Clerical and Administration Level 3.1 or Level 4.1 depending upon experience and skills.
Benefits
Support and Operational Staff at Carinya are employed under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
Depending upon the applicant's prior experience, the position will be classified as Clerical and Administrative Level 3.1 or Level 4.1.
