Carinya Christian School Tamworth is now receiving applications from qualified Primary School Teachers for the position of Primary Teacher due to commence Term 1 2019.
Applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical persuasion and be suitably qualified to fill this role within the school.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of a quality christian education to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Applicants must be able to illustrate a passion and desire to excel in the delivery of a Christ Centred curriculum and to support the development of students as individuals made in the image of God. New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) Teacher Registration and a current Working With Children Check are both Mandatory. The Tamworth Christian Education Association operates both Carinya Christian School Tamworth and Gunnedah. Over 550 families, 940 students, and 140 staff make up the Carinya community, with staff working across both schools to share administrative and curriculum resources.

Salary Range as of February 2018 - Band 1 $76,261; Band 2 $94,622; Band 3 $108,045.
Professional development is a priority for the school and two non-teaching weeks are set aside each year during student vacation for all staff to collectively participate in Curriculum and Professional Development. Carinya Term Dates do not match NSW Public Schools and can be viewed via the school website.
