National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians - as individuals, families, communities, organisations and, importantly, as a nation. At the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Welcome BBQ and Classroom Visit
As we start a new school year, parents and carers will have a lovely opportunity to meet their child’s teachers and build community with other families in Carinya Gunnedah at the Welcome BBQ and Classroom Visit.
Each year, Carinya Gunnedah runs a Welcome Barbeque and Parent Information Evening and, while COVID-19 has changed the format of this evening, we sincerely hope that you will join us for an outdoor sausage sizzle dinner, enjoy some warm hospitality and welcome the opportunity to walk through your child’s classroom.
RSVP is not required, and there will be plenty of sausages, tea, coffee available that cater for all the relevant dietary needs.
